The world's most expensive dog

In what could be the most expensive purchase of a dog ever, a Tibetan mastiff dog was purchased for almost two million dollars in China by a property developer.

  This ancient breed is seen as a status symbol, with its large size and long coats. The pup (seen above on the left) weighs nearly 200 pounds and is 31 inches tall.  The dog’s breeder said that his dogs “have lion’s blood and are top-of-the-range mastiff studs.
